Erika E. Manuel is a 11-year member of the National Urban League Young Professionals and has served as an active member of three award winning chapters, including the Milwaukee Urban League Young Professionals and the Columbus Urban League Young Professionals in the Central Region. She most recently served as the Secretary of the Dallas-Fort Worth Urban League Young Professionals in the Southern Region, and she provided program support to the Health and Quality of Life and Professional Development Committees. Erika served on the National Urban League Young Professionals’ Programs Committee for two years and as the YP Fit Co-lead. She currently serves on the National Urban League Young Professionals’ Leadership, Training, and Development Committee as the Nonprofit Summit Lead. Erika is also a member of other legacy organizations who partner with the National Urban League to promote Black advancement, such as the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. She is a Certified Nonprofit Professional with the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance, a proud alumna of Tennessee State University, and holds a graduate degree in business management from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Erika has awarded and administered high-value, multimillion dollar government contracts as a Contract Specialist in the defense and federal sector. Presently, she works in this capacity for the Environmental Protection Agency and strives to become a leader in federal procurement policy to create equitable outcomes for economic growth in all divested and socially disadvantaged communities.
