Position:
President

Tyler Litt, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, comes from a lineage of healthcare, education, faith, and community leaders. Her upbringing instilled in her a deep belief that while genius is evenly distributed, opportunities are not. This conviction drives her to make opportunities more accessible to all in her professional and personal life.

As the founder and lead advisor for HireLitt, Tyler is a dedicated social impact strategist and leadership advisor. She focuses on nurturing sustainable leaders through guidance and coaching, fostering strategic problem-solving, and mobilizing resources for expanded impact. Over the past decade, Tyler has championed equitable outcomes in place-based and national nonprofit philanthropy and education. She managed $14 million in grantmaking for educational initiatives at a national education fund, emphasizing academic excellence and equity. Previously, she led community investment strategies, launched a citywide student enrollment system, designed a parent training collaborative, and curated a nonprofit capacity-building initiative across the greater Baton Rouge community.

Tyler's expertise spans education, public health, and leadership development. She is committed to shaping practices that promote equitable access and community-driven investments in the social impact sector. Within the movement, she aims to leverage her experiences, skill sets, and passion for empowering leaders to support the NULYP’s ability to further its service in advancing the affiliate mission.

Joining the movement as a young professional in 2018, she is grateful for various opportunities to have served at the local, regional, and national committee levels. Her young professional impact centers the mentorship and support of chapter leaders as a trusted advisor.

She is a proud member of the Greater Baton Rouge Society of Human Resource Management, Association of Funding Professionals - Baton Rouge Chapter, Education Leaders of Color (EdLoc - Boulder Fund Selection Committee in 2021 & 2022), Southern Louisiana (SoLA) Super Region Council, Career Immersion Leadership Institute (General Board Member), and BRidge Agency (General Board Member).

When she's not aiding leaders in tackling pressing challenges, advising emerging leaders on rest, or serving on various local, regional, and national boards, Tyler enjoys spending time with her god-twins and Granny or meeting friends for crawfish.
