Eastern Region Vice President

Jer’Mykeal McCoy is a dynamic business and civic leader in Richmond, Virginia. With a passion for community and innovation, McCoy currently manages service contracts and consults on supplier diversity in healthcare. As an accomplished sales professional and award-winning nonprofit leader, McCoy has made his mark as a rising star in the industry.

 

In recognition of his talent and leadership, the Richmond City Council appointed McCoy as the youngest member to the city’s Economic Development Authority Board of Directors in 2021. He also serves as the Eastern Region VP for the National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP), where he works to empower young professionals to be leaders in their communities. As Past President of the Urban League Greater Richmond Young Professionals, he led the chapter in awarding $10,000 in scholarships to students in Richmond Public Schools.

 

McCoy is deeply involved in the Richmond community and has served on the Advisory Council for the award-winning Richmond 300 City-wide Master Plan. He is also an active member of several organizations, including Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Tennessee State University National Alumni Association, and The Life Church RVA.

 

Born and raised in East Knoxville, Tennessee, McCoy earned a B.S. with honors from Tennessee State University, and an MPS from Georgetown University. He is a Class of 2021 graduate of the National Urban League's Emerging Leader Program and was honored as a 2020 TSU Alumni 40U40 recipient.
