Southern Region Vice President

Ashley Baker is a Florida native and graduate of the University of Central Florida. Ashley has worked in the nonprofit sector for over a decade, beginning her career at BETA Center, serving pregnant and parenting teens and has since served in various capacities from fundraising to business development and currently as the Director Marketing for True Health where she leads marketing efforts and community outreach initiatives. True Health, a nonprofit community health center with nine locations in Orange and Seminole Counties, serves as a safety net for residents and provides high-quality, comprehensive healthcare at a reasonable cost to everyone, turning no one away based on inability to pay. Ashley believes everyone should have access to affordable healthcare and leads her team in ensuring that community members are aware of and connected to the valuable resources available at True Health.

Ashley is passionate about serving students and families in efforts to help her community in reaching its brightest future. Outside of work Ashley is a mentor with Every Kid Outreach, a nonprofit serving students from Eatonville and surrounding areas, has been a dedicated volunteer with National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) for over 10 years, supporting the National Urban League and

their mission to achieve social and economic justice, and serves as a member of the Advisory Council for the Black History Project, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through education, civic engagement, and career readiness. Additionally, Ashley has volunteered her time to support the development of the UCF Black Alumni community, and is a graduate of Leadership Orlando, Class 102. In her personal life, Ashley is a proud auntie and enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, traveling, and truly values creating new memories and experiences. Ashley continues her commitment to service, leadership and empowerment in hopes of creating meaningful change and opportunities for all.
