NULYP Honors Adrianne Slash
Diversity and Inclusion Expert & Revered Civic Leader
Adrianne joined Community Health Network as Diversity & Inclusion Consultant in early 2017. Prior to he newest endeavor she served as Program and Event Director for Leadership Indianapolis where she was helping to build the pipeline for the next generation of civic leaders. Adrianne's professional contribution to Indianapolis nonprofit organizations also includes Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis and United Way of Central Indiana.
Adrianne comes from a family of community servants and considers it an honor to serve others in her free time as a community resource. She is the President of The Exchange at the Indianapolis Urban League, President of the Heritage Alumni Association Board at The Orchard School, a board member at Visit Indy, a member of the Indianapolis Cluster for CEOs for Cities, member of the Membership Committee and Unity Project at the Jewish Community Center, was honored as a member of the 2017 IBJ Forty under 40 class, an Indianapolis Foundation Fellow, and serves as Youth Director at First Baptist Church North Indianapolis. In 2015, Adrianne through her hat in the ring and ran for Indianapolis Marion County City County Council to represent her neighbors in Council District 7. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the Junior League of Indianapolis.
Adrianne is a proud graduate of Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia where she received her bachelor’s degree in political science.
